The Devil's in the Details
I've recently been receiving personalised adverts on the web for Portrait Professional.
Having browsed their galleries of examples there is little left to say, particularity about the "child" setting. All I can say is that "professional" is a loose, loose term.
We've become obsessed with an impossible ideal that goes beyond the tentative beauty of the human condition only to come crash-landing into the wasteland of vulgarity. And now after scrutinising 1000's of human faces, this company can prey on our anxieties with a new user-friendly interface. That perfect web avatar is yours for only a small subscription fee, and all you have to do is ensure as little physical contact with actual human beings as possible to preserve your internalised myths.
"Welcome to the desert of The Real".
